If you are new to internet marketing, one of the many things you are going to have to think about is hosting. There are tons of great hosting companies out there – lots of junk ones too. I have used quite a few and most are similar in respects to the back-end and what their basic function is, but reliability (up-time) and customer service vary wildly amongst the different companies out. I am going to make this very simple. There are only two companies that I use, but I am going to endorse one specifically for those who are new to internet marketing and especially those who want to get into the site-flipping aspect of internet marketing:
Hostgator
Get your hosting for just 1¢ for the first month. Use coupon code hgc25 when signing up.
I highly recommend Hostgator and I will tell you their customer service is top-notch. Hostgator is probably the best hosting company for someone new to internet marketing because their pricing is very good, you can pay a small monthly fee instead of large up-front fees and again – service is top notch.
Also, you may have been looking around at the different money-making aspects of internet marketing and you have heard of site-flipping. If this piqued your interest, Hostgator has what is called a re-seller account where you can add-on accounts to your main account and then sell them – go here for a better explanation. What makes this great is that if you want to flip sites is that you can sell a site with built-in hosting for a year (for example) and if that person keeps their account and renews next year – you will be getting residual commissions – you make money on the site flip more than one – not a bad deal.
Seriously, you don’t need to look any further – Hostgator is a simple choice.
