Easy Ways To Make Money Online

People are constantly looking for easy ways to make money online – looking for that silver bullet, err, button that they can push and have their computer start spewing out cash. If you are one of those people – let me ask you a very simple question:

If you had a way to make money, where you just pressed a button and you made $X,XXX per day – would you sell that method to others?

Of course not, unless you aren’t very bright (or maybe you’re just an overly generous person). What you would do instead is make more of those buttons and press away keeping all that money to yourself – wouldn’t you? After all if you sold that button to others, it might not work as well and your money might start to disappear. Yet there are so many claims out there about push-button this, and autopilot that – what a load of BS!

The sad fact is that there are lots of people out there selling Read More »

Make Money With Adsense – Optimizing Adsense

Make Money With Adsense – Optimizing Adsense

I don’t run Adsense on this site, but I have a bunch in which I do and ever since I started optimizing them, my Adsense income has skyrocketed.  Here is a method I have used with great success to improve the amount of earnings I received from sites that I run Adsense on. For some people, optimizing for Adsense is quite obvious, but for others who might be new to the world of IM, optimizing your content to improve the amount you are getting paid for your Adsense clicks might not be that obvious. Most people just slap an Adsense ad block up and pray someone clicks on it. On top of that, many people think that 5 cents a click is normal and are happy when they get an 80 cent click – “Awesome!” Many don’t know that you can consistently target higher paying clicks. I regularly target my content to receive clicks of more than $2 – if you are going to run Adsense – why not go for bigger numbers eh? Read More »

Social Bookmarking

You are probably familiar with social media by now. Twitter, Facebook, whatever-space, etc., etc. Do you use it? I don’t use it on a personal level very often, but of course I have my own personal accounts, but I don’t like to use them for IM.  I feel bad shilling things to my friends – I’d rather preserve those accounts for what I think their legit purposes are – to communicate on a personal level without selling something. So how can you use social media for business pursposes? After all, you hear it all the time that such and such guru is using social media to make huge bank. Well, some do – but they already have built their reputation as a marketer and when people accept them as friends on facebook or follow them on twitter – they know what they are going to get – sales pitches intermingled with IM lifestyle tweets and such. Content Distribution

You’ve written a great blog post and you want people to read it. Unfortunately you don’t have much traffic to your site.  The first thing you have to do is keep writing that great content – eventually people will come – but why wait?  You can do many things to increase traffic and one of the most popular methods is article marketing – also known as “bum marketing”.  Put simply, this method involves getting your content out to authority sites with a link back to your in order to gain traffic to your site. Of course we’ve all heard of this and utilize this method already – right?  If not, you need to start doing it right now.

What’s the best way to do this? Read More »

KeyWord Research

KeyWord Research

Why do you need to do keyword research?  If you are an experienced internet marketer, you know the absolute importance of proper keyword research.  If you are new to IM, you probably read a lot about keyword research, but pretty much just ignore it because it seems too complicated and quite frankly too boring.  Besides, most people know what keywords they need to target – right?  Unfortunately, that is a mindset that plagues many new people in internet marketing.  Keyword research is imperative for ranking your website in the search engine results, targeting the right keywords in ppc campaigns, and even puting the right keywords in your content to make sure the best paying ads are showing if you are using Adsense for revenue.

The truth is, you need to learn about keyword research and the sooner, the better – it will save you a lot of heart-ache and lost money in the long-run. Read More »

Hosting

Hosting

If you are new to internet marketing, one of the many things you are going to have to think about is hosting. There are tons of great hosting companies out there – lots of junk ones too.  I have used quite a few and most are similar in respects to the back-end and what their basic function is, but reliability (up-time) and customer service vary wildly amongst the different companies out.  I am going to make this very simple. There are only two companies that I use, but I am going to endorse one specifically for those who are new to internet marketing and especially those who want to get into the site-flipping aspect of internet marketing: Read More »
