Some Thoughts On LGN Prosperity – Little Guy Network

Delicious

The latest buzz on the internet is about something called LGN Prosperity – Little Guy Network. This service presents itself as a network of internet marketing little guys who have gotten together in an effort to collectively be able to compete with the big players in the world of marketing products and services online. By banding together, they can have the collective clout to succeed online.

Those who are new to internet marketing can easily be persuaded by the arguments put forward by this and other programs like it. It is very difficult today for anyone to make money online if they don’t have a fabulous product and a big advertising budget. Today, almost every form of advertising has the word “pay” in front of it. You have to pay for clicks, you have to pay to have your website displayed on someone else’s website, etc.

It’s hard to pay for something when you have little money to begin with and you won’t have more until you’ve generated sales. But you can’t generate sales without paying out money. It’s a no win situation. Then somebody tells you that if you pool your resources with others like yourself, you can afford to advertise online and make money.

It’s when you start looking at the program a little more closely that it starts to look like just another MLM or Pyramid scheme. The money you contribute goes up to your sponsors, who in turn get you to enlist more recruits. The products that you are selling on your automatically generated website are secondary to recruiting new “little guys” to your network.

All of this is well and good if everybody has a chance to profit. The critics say, however, that the more there are in your network, the less you can make. You are all selling the same thing, after all. After awhile, you are all competing with one another. At some point, the pyramid becomes too tall and just topples down, taking you and your investment with it.

That’s the critics point of view, anyway. What do those who are part of the system have to say in response? Some say they are very satisfied with it and claim to have made money from it. Others are insulted that it is called a pyramid scheme, since they do have viable products to sell.

One thing that does not get mentioned very much is that many successful internet marketers got their start by enrolling in enterprises like these. They learned valuable lessons in internet marketing from their experiences and occasionally even got a valuable list of fellow entrepreneurs to exchange notes with.

Internet marketing is not something you just walk into. You need to learn the ropes. If you want to get in on the game but don’t know where to start, LGN or something similar might not be such a bad idea. Just as long as you can afford it and will not be hurt financially should you fail, it could be a good learning experience.

The fact that Little Guy Network Prosperity has attracted so much attention makes it something worth looking into. As the saying goes: “All publicity is good publicity.” If you are going to take the plunge, now is the time to do it!
